Ran 30 mins on treadmill at gym, hated every minute of it. I think the gym needs to invest in a better AC system.

Sunday Aug 24
Well after a week long cold I'm finally exercising again. Haven't done anything since Monday and I must admit I'm in a much better mood today. Exercise definitely is a stress reliever for me.
Long Run
95 mins
loops in Churchill, Crowder, Dutchman Downs.
humid again, even at 8:30am
felt ok for the first 45mins then pretty much fell apart.
blisters, leg cramps, headache, MP3 player died you name it.
Gu'd at 50 mins. didn't seem to do much however. forgot to eat before the run, i think i should make that a priority from now on. No energy!
Hope I got in the required 9 miles though. Thats all that matters.

10:30 ran 30 mins easy 6.0 on tread at gym. was boring, how am i going to do this?
11am swam 10 laps at pool w/30 sec. rest between. swimming is hard! but a good workout.

Swam laps with John. Lost track but didn't swim too many. Still working on my form, I'm getting better just have to perfect the breathing part. Its nice to do something different. Especially since I haven't been lifting in awhile. Need something to work my upper body. Gotta get rid of the tricep flab!

Charlotte Marathon
I felt pretty good after competing in the 15K in July. Last year I had hoped to do a full marathon but never did get past the half.
My goal this year is the Charlotte Marathon on Dec 13. I'm going to follow an 18 week training program so I'll be starting Aug 16. Not sure how much fun this will be at first running in the NC heat but we'll see.
